How do I open an account?
Click on the "Open and Account link and Go paperless!  CBSP clients can electronically request an account and sign our service agreements.  Then, with the click of a single button, one of our Account Service Representatives can create your account.  The system even takes care of emailing a “getting started” guide and login information to you!


How do I proceed with entering an order?
Our web-based software allows you to log into your server, place orders and retrieve results twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year!

And if you prefer to fax or mail your orders in, that’s fine!  Our professionally trained customer service staff can key in the orders and completed results can be automatically returned to you.

When you partner with CBSP, forms with missing data, four digit zip codes and other errors are a thing of the past. 

Our customers receive real-time feedback as they enter data.  Missing fields are highlighted on the screen.  Only when all fields are entered completely and accurately will you be allowed to continue.


What are my payment options?  Credit Card or Invoice?
Eliminate the hassle of billing with our credit card payment system.  You will be billed when you place the order and you’ll never have to deal with invoicing again.

For our valued clients who must invoice, our system creates itemized invoices for you free of charge on any schedule you desire.


Do I need a person's permission to run a criminal background check?
Although criminal records are in most cases considered to be public records, you sometimes do need a person's permission before running a criminal report.

If you intend to use the information provided through our services to make a decision that could negatively affect another person's ability to secure employment, insurance, credit, or housing, then you must first inform the subject that you are obtaining a Consumer Report, and obtain their written authorization.
